The Science Connection: Teacher Reflections   Math and science have many issues that can be addressed at the same time. Data collection and analysis is just one example. Journal writing solidifies the math and science skills as well as language skills. Science allows students to see how math can be applied to real life situations. Using technology is another way that science and math can be merged. Students can enter data into the computer and view different ways it can be represented.
