View of the Carlton House, built in 1885 by Albert and Martha Carlton. This house was the boyhood home of Florida's 25th governor, Doyle E. Carlton.

View of a salt vat. Salt water was placed in this vat and boiled to produce salt, which was a scarce commodity in this area. This vat is over one-hundred years old.
