Misza Wróblewski


Misza worked at Korczaks orphanage from September 1st, 1931 until August 5th, 1942 - the day entire orphanage was deported to Treblinka.

Michal (Misza) Wroblewski started to work at Krochmalna during his studies at the University. He was ao leading gimnastics at the orphanage.

Behind the Korczak-rock stands Misza (Wasserman) Wroblewski, the only teacher that survived orphanage deportation to Treblinka on the 5th of August 1942.


Stone (and 1000 tree plantation) in the memory of Michal (Misza) Wroblewski was raised in the Korczak-forest in Jerusalem outskirts by Misza´s children - orphanage children that survied Holocaust, his family and friends.
