  • Johnny left his skateboard on the porch. The porch light was burned out. Johnny's dad came home after dark and tripped over the skateboard.
  • Sam took his favorite baseball glove to the city park. He left it in the dugout, and his glove was stolen.
  • Mom starts the car, puts it in gear, presses the gas, and the car moves.
