Entrance to the Ancient Spanish Monastery in Miami, Florida.

Exterior of the Ancient Spanish Monastery. The monastery was originally constructed between 1133 and 1141 in Sacramenia, Spain. The building was purchased by William Randolph Hearst in 1925 and shipped to America.

Fountain at the monastery. Today the monastery serves as the home of St. Bernard's Episcopal Church. The grounds are open to the public. The monastery and gardens are a popular location for weddings.

The well in the cloister patio is made of Roman granite and dates from the second century.

The "French Altar" was carved in Cannes and was a gift from the Mother House in honor of the Abbot.
