This panorama opens facing the textile factory. The long, gray buildings to the left date from the period of the camp, but their function is unknown. Continuing left, the building with the peaked roof is the camp waterworks. Next is the camp gate. The gray building seen through the trees was the SS garage in front of which can bee seen the foundations of the former kitchen and bath buildings. Continuing left, the building with the peaked roof and chimneys is the camp prison. The remainder of the buildings visible in this panorama were constructed since 1945. The slight ridges in the gravel indicate the foundations of the former camp barracks. The large trees line the sides of what was known as Lager Street 1.Return to Ravensbruck VR Movie Menu
