The USF COE Laptop Initiative
Student Wiki
Students from the Laptop Initiative have started a
wiki (Password : laptop) to gather and record all of
the things they've learned. It's a place to go for lesson
ideas, resources, and information from those who know best — the
students in the program.

The State of Florida
Laptops for Learning Task Force Report
The Laptops for Learning Task Force has finished
its report assessing the use of mobile laptop computers in
all learning environments as it relates to student success
in grades K-12. FCIT has made available an electronic
version of the report.
AppleCorps@USF

USF Academic Computing has started a

provides access to documentation for the applications supported
by USF. The wiki also provides general information about the
services provided by USF's Academic Computing.
The Apple Store
The closest Apple Store is located at
International Plaza, near Tampa International Airport. The Apple Store has training sessions scheduled throughout the week on many Mac applications. Check out their monthly schedule for more information.
Apple Learning Interchange
This is a great site to visit for lesson ideas.
This site also includes
many tutorials targeted for educators. If you are interested
in using iMovie in the classroom their Videography
for Educators guide is a great resource that takes you through the steps
of producing a video, from the selection of equipment and planning
process to the actual shooting and editing of footage.
