Math Practice
Grade Level: K-2
Objectives
- Students share a computer to practice addition and subtraction facts.
- Students increase their accuracy and speed in adding and subtracting numbers.
- Students become more familiar and competent in using the keyboard.
- Students monitor their own learning.
Procedure
- Students share a computer with a partner.
- Introduce the Rainforest Math website http://www.rainforestmaths.com
- Ask students to take turns practicing addition and subtraction facts on the website.
- Provide each student a sheet with all the fact families.
- As they complete each problem, have them check off the problems they have correct and incorrect.
