Our Partnership Schools

Our initial certification programs work in partnership with seven schools to provide a carefully mentored and systematic approach to teacher education.

Pizzo Elementary is located on the University of South Florida campus. The student population spans from PreK through 5th grade and includes several exceptional education programs. Influenced by USF, Pizzo's school colors are green and gold and our mascot is the bull. As a Professional Development School (PDS) Pizzo partners with the university to: prepare preservice teachers, provide continuous staff development of experienced professionals, and implement the research and development of practices that will lead to superior educational outcomes for children. Collaborative work between and among the School District of Hillsborough County, the University of South Florida, the Museum of Science and Industry and the staff of Pizzo Elementary is providing the best educational experiences for our students.
