Al Doyle: Special Forces
Clip 1
Retired, 25 years in the Army, ten years 82nd Airborne Division Infantry, and fifteen years in the Special Forces Green Beret. Five of those years were in combat on the Cambodian border with the Special Forces and Cambodia. Let me explain the difference between Special Forces and Special Operations Forces. Special Forces are the Green Beret; we wear the green berets. Some Green Berets don't like being called the "Green Berets" because they're not a beret, they're a person. Special Operations Forces consist of the Green Berets (Special Forces), Navy Seals, Air Commandoes, Army Rangers, Special Navy Boat Units, Special Army Helicopter Units such as the Black Hawks, and various small organizations such as psychological operations and so on. What we do mainly is to organize and to teach. We teach people how to fight, how to take back their country, or how to overthrow their government.
