I completed the field artillery basic course for officers. Basically, I learned how to shoot big cannons and be out in the field with the infantry and get on my radio and call in. For instance, I could be at a certain location and the guns could be five miles from there. I could get on my radio and call in a fire mission by using my map and they could shoot the guns from way over there and support me at my location.
