Requirements for the FCAT

• The FCAT requires students to use all of their learning experiences and apply them to questions on the test.
• These types of experiences cannot be taught two weeks before the test is given.
• Instead, they should be included in the daily curriculum.
• When students are actively involved in mathematics every day and are free to discuss their ideas, teachers can more effectively help their students achieve success.
