Too often, technology in the classroom becomes the tail wagging the dog. TIM emphasizes the pedagogical approach taken, not the devices used.<\/p>\n<p>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/evaluation-tools\/\">TIM Tools<\/a> to plan and evaluate your staff development:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administer the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/evaluation-tools\/tups\/\">Technology Uses and Perceptions Survey (TUPS)<\/a> to identify professional development needs.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/evaluation-tools\/tups\/\">TUPS<\/a> to generate lists of teachers who would benefit from specific PD topics.<\/li>\n<li>Have faculty retake the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/evaluation-tools\/tups\/\">TUPS<\/a> each year to document professional development success.<\/li>\n<li>Use <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/evaluation-tools\/tim-o\/\">TIM-O<\/a> results to identify the appropriate level of technology integration PD for each teacher.<\/li>\n<li>Introduce <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/evaluation-tools\/arti\/\">ARTI<\/a> to integrate action research into your professional development program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/resources\/\">TIM resources<\/a> to enhance your training:<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Show your staff <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/resources\/presentations\/\">slide presentations<\/a> or an <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/fetc-2021\/\">introductory video<\/a> about the TIM.<\/li>\n<li>Present premade <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/resources\/presentations\/\">TIM presentations<\/a> in your staff development.<\/li>\n<li>Build your own presentation using our <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/resources\/\">collection of helpful graphics and other resources.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Use example videos from <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/matrix\/\">the Matrix<\/a> and from the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/professional-learning\/practice-videos\/\">practice video collection<\/a> as discussion-starters in staff development.<\/li>\n<li>Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/tim-c\/\">TIM-C<\/a> to guide coaches and clients through a coaching cycle and document coaching work in any subject area across a school or district.<\/li>\n<li>Enroll staff in <a href=\"https:\/\/fcit.usf.edu\/matrix\/professional-learning\/iteach\/\">iTeach Professional Learning<\/a> courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243;
