[Student 1\u2019s voice]I\u2019m Roger Recycle, your friendly aluminum dude. I\u2019m flying high over Doctor Ann East Jones Trashville, U.S.A. On the way looking for kids throwing away\u2026.<\/p>\n

[Teacher speaking]Roger Recycle, it began as my Cub Scout pack, we were talking about recycling and aluminum, saving for our landfill. And it carried over into the classroom where the students they researched aluminum, the causes and effects in recycling. And they came up, they did some research on the internet, they came up with some facts about aluminum or recycling and then they took those facts and they made a storyboard.<\/p>\n

And they came up with a character called Roger Recycle, which was just they took aluminum foil and created a little man on a ruler as their character, kind of like their puppet. And he would go around the campus and see kids that were doing things, throwing away aluminum items, and he would fly up and tell them different facts about aluminum and the importance of recycling.<\/p>\n

[Teacher addressing a group]Held the ruler underneath it and it looked like, and he would, because we\u2019re moving his little, and he had a little aluminum cape, so his little aluminum cape would flap. And we would go throughout the campus like this and it would look like Roger was flying around.<\/p>\n

[Student 1\u2019s voice]Hello everybody, I\u2019m Roger Recycle your friendly aluminum dude. You just did a big favor for all us aluminum fans.<\/p>\n

[Student 2 speaking]Thanks Roger!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
