and download data\u201d enabled, will be able to download TIM-LP data at their own administrative level using the Admin Center. That is, school leaders will be able to download TIM-LP from their assigned school, zone leaders will be able to download TIM-LP from their assigned their assigned zone, and district leaders will be able to access all TIM-LP data from across the district.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1. Begin by selecting the TIM-LP<\/strong> tab in the Admin Center<\/strong>. You will see the following window:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 2. Next select your target location(s) from the Schools<\/strong> dropdown menu. <\/p>\n Users with district-level TIM-LP data access will be able to select all schools in the district or any particular school. Users with zone-level TIM-LP data access will be able to select all schools in the zone or any particular school within the zone. The school will be pre-selected for users with school-level TIM-LP data access.<\/p>\n To select more than one location, control-click using Windows or command-click using Mac.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3. Then select the target Role(s)<\/strong> you wish to include.<\/p>\n The default setting is to include Teacher data only. You can change this setting to include whatever combination of roles you would like. As above, control-click (command-click on a Mac) to select more than one role.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 4. Select whether you wish to “anonymize” the data or include identifying information.<\/p>\n Selecting Anonymous<\/strong> will remove the following data from your downloads: First Name, Last Name, Member ID, School Name, and School ID. There may be times when users wish to share data without identifying information. Note, however, that this selection simply removes the fields noted above. There still may be identifying information in the remaining fields such as the “Comments” column. Users must determine if eliminating these five fields meets their need for anonymized data.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 5. Next select the Start Date<\/strong> and End Date<\/strong>. If you leave the default dates unchanged, you will receive a download of every TIM-LP review. You can change both the Start Date and End Date to narrow the range if desired. Click the calendar icon to change the date.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 6. To navigate within the calendar, click the month heading to select a different month within the same year. Click the year heading to select a different year.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 7. When your date range is set, click the Download TIM-LP Spreadsheet<\/strong> button and the download will begin automatically.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 8. \nThe TIM-O is designed to guide principals, teachers, and others through the process of evaluating the level of technology integration within a particular lesson and helps provide a clear picture of the professional development needed to support further technology integration. Two variations of the TIM-O are available within TIM Tools. The TIM-R allows for teacher reflection and the TIM-LP is used for lesson plan review.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

\nThe TUPS is the perfect tool to use annually, or at the beginning and end of any technology project to measure the changes in how teachers relate to technology in their work. It supports teacher inquiry by providing the teacher with a tool for recording changes in classroom usage of technology. The information is also useful for planning technology infrastructure and support and getting a snapshot of the perceptions of teachers.<\/p>\n

\nThe ARTI tool provides a framework for teachers to design and conduct their own action research projects. ARTI takes teachers through the five basic steps of an action research project including: identification of a question, description of the context, data collection, analysis, and the creation of findings.<\/p>\n
\nAccessing School or District ARTI Data<\/p>\n
\nThe Report Tool allows a school or district to create new reports using the Report Builder. Choose the option to create new TIM-LP, TIM-O, TIM-R, or TUPS reports. Use the Report Tool Dashboard to review the number of complete, incomplete, published, and unpublished reports in your system. View all previous reports, along with newly created reports, in the Report List.<\/p>\n

\nThe Survey Tool allows a school or district to create surveys on new topics as needed. The surveys can be offered to TIM members only or made available to the general public. Surveys can be built from scratch or users can start with a survey from the included library of sample surveys.<\/p>\n
