(TIM-O) Mobile App is available for iOS from the App Store for Android on the Google Play Store. The TIM-O Mobile App allows you to quickly create, edit, and share TIM-O records. To use the TIM-O mobile app, you must have valid login credentials for your school or district TIM Tools account. For general help with observations, please refer to the TIM-O section of this Admin Guide. For training on how to plan for and conduct classroom observations, please visit www.iteach.usf.edu.<\/p>\n Download and Install the App<\/strong>. Visit the TIM-O App download page on the App Store or the Google Play store.<\/p>\n Sign On.<\/strong> On the sign-on page, enter the URL for your organization’s TIM Tools account (e.g. myschool.tim-tools.com). You do not need to enter “https:\/\/”; just the main part of the URL. If you have entered a valid URL, the app will display a checkmark. On subsequent uses, the app will pre-enter the last valid TIM Tools URL that you used, although you can edit the URL before logging in. The TIM-O is designed to guide principals, teachers, and others through the process of evaluating the level of technology integration within a particular lesson and helps provide a clear picture of the professional development needed to support further technology integration. Two variations of the TIM-O are available within TIM Tools. The TIM-R allows for teacher reflection and the TIM-LP is used for lesson plan review.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

The TUPS is the perfect tool to use annually, or at the beginning and end of any technology project to measure the changes in how teachers relate to technology in their work. It supports teacher inquiry by providing the teacher with a tool for recording changes in classroom usage of technology. The information is also useful for planning technology infrastructure and support and getting a snapshot of the perceptions of teachers.<\/p>\n

The ARTI tool provides a framework for teachers to design and conduct their own action research projects. ARTI takes teachers through the five basic steps of an action research project including: identification of a question, description of the context, data collection, analysis, and the creation of findings.<\/p>\n
