Student: This is Alex Ditinno. He served in the Marine Corps. What where you doing prior to your Vietnam service?
Alex: I was in school. I attended a vocational school in Massachusetts.

Student: Why did you join the Marines?
Alex: Well, once I came close to graduation, I knew there was a good chance I'd get drafted. I pretty much figured I was going to Vietnam.
