Materials
About 30 cubes or other manipulatives per student
3 long pieces of yarn, tied together
Notes to the teacher
Students should understand that the cubes represent the animals in the problem.
Directions:
1. The lizards have a choice of what rings to enter.
How many lizards are in the rings? |
Write a note to your friend describing how you found out the total number of
lizards in the rings.
2. All snakes have a choice of what rings to enter. Snakes may have only one
or more than one color.
