Purpose of MathVIDS

The purpose of MathVIDS is to assist teachers to effectively teach mathematical concepts and skills to students who are experiencing difficulty learning mathematics. MathVIDS is intended to provide you with both "short-term" and "long-term" assistance. MathVIDS will help educators provide assistance to students now, but it is also designed to be an ongoing and "individualized" professional development tool. As teachers begin using MathVIDS, they will soon see there is a lot of information available. Some of the information may be familiar to them and some may not. With continued use of MathVIDS, teachers will have the opportunity to continually strengthen their mathematical instructional effectiveness for struggling learners.
