The Atlantic Coast Line Freight Station and Union Passenger Depot were part of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, which existed between 1898 and 1967 when it merged with another company. The Atlantic Coast Line Freight Station extended along the east coast from Virginia down to Florida. The station at Live Oak was once a very busy and populated area.
