Stained Glass Dome Ceiling

• Description: Stained glass dome ceiling of the Old Florida State Capitol. The dome ceiling was the design of architect Frank Pierce Milburn, who was in charge of the remodeling of 1902 and a very popular architect in the South during this time. The ceiling is 136 feet from the ground and has a colorful pattern of stained glass that allows light into the building. Info from: Museum of Florida History, Division of Historical Resources.
