Slough and Chickee Bridge
- Description: The Bonnet House slough separated by the chickee bridge leading to the beach. Originally, the slough was a marshland filled with sawgrass, but was eventually dredged resulting in its appearance today. Notice the looming buildings in the background. This is a reminder that not only is the Bonnet House a preservation of the past, but it is something that must be protected from the changing times and threatening development.
