Spanish cathedral.

The city gates lead to the old town via George Street. According to a sign on the gates, "This gate, opened in 1739, provided the only access through the defense line on the north side of Spanish St. Augustine. Royal engineer Manuel de Hita built these coquina pillars in 1808."

Monument erected in 1812 to celebrate the first constitution granted to Florida.

Oldest house in the United States, located on St. Francis Street. It was built in 1652 and renovated in 1986.

Ponce de León Hotel. According to a historical marker, "This magnificent structure was erected between 1885 and 1887 by Henry M. Flagler, the hotel and railroad magnate whose activities contributed greatly to the development of Florida's eastern coastal area."
