A color photo taken in June, 1973 of mahogany trees in Monroe County, south of Miami. "During the 18th and 19th centuries, English cabinet makers used the mahogany trees of Key Largo for their finest furniture. Many trees have fallen to the developers' bulldozers, but some can still be seen by persistent seekers."
