The Well at Coral Castle. Ed built and used this well for fresh groundwater.

Ed's Bathtub at Coral Castle. The tub is near the well. In the morning Ed would fill the tub with well water and wait for the sun to heat it up before taking his bath in mid-afternoon.

The Bedroom. Ed built twin beds of solid coral rock. One was for him, and the other for his sweet sixteen. Nearby is a coral rocking cradle and a child's rocking chair.

The hole at the top of the Obelisk is in the shape of the six-pointed Latvian star.

The dates denote when the Obelisk was made and moved from Florida City as well as the year and country of Ed's birth.

The Repentance Corner. Ed created this structure for the purpose of disciplining children who misbehaved. The idea was to lock the child's head through an opening in the coral with a piece of wood. The adult could then have the full attention of the child for an hour or more.
