	Nelson Family Memorial Garden at Morikami Gardens. This garden commemorates Norman, Dan, and Bob Nelson, who cared for the Morikami Gardens and Bonsai Collection in its early days.

	Morikami Memorial. This memorial serves as a traditional gravestone for George Sukeji Morikami, donor of Morikami Park. It was constructed in 1989.
	Yamato Island was once the site of Yamato-kan, the original Morikami Museum building. The island has been transformed into a modern/contemporary garden that emphasizes the relationship between interior and exterior spaces.
