There are several interesting period references on this map, including Lake Mayaca (Lake Okeechobee), Sandwich Gulf (Card Sound), and Thompson's Island (Key West), as well as unique spellings such as Cape Cannaveral and Spirito Santo (Espirito Santo or Tampa Bay).
