Faculty in Literacy Studies
Our faculty pursues active scholarship and research endeavors. We were recently ranked 6th in the nation (Morrison, Wilcox & Wilcox, 2007) for research productivity in reading. Faculty publish research in journals such as Reading Research Quarterly, The Reading Teacher, Reading Research and Instruction, and Journal of Reading Education. We are actively involved as officers and members in organizations such as the National Reading Conference, International Reading Association, American Reading Forum, and the American Education Research Association.
