Research
Research in Elementary Education is embedded in practice. Students across all programs work in partnership with community schools to explore all facets of teaching and teacher education. Our undergraduate and initial certification programs work in partnership with six Hillsborough County schools to provide a carefully mentored and systematic approach to teacher education. The Masters of Arts program encourages action research and reflective practice to develop teacher leaders. And the Ph.D. program involves extensive research of elementary practices.
