Part 1: Correlating Standards to Multimedia Activities

Review at least four of the lesson plans at the No Strings Attached website. Note that for each lesson, the Sunshine State Standards are listed, as well as the National Educational Technology Standards.

Go to the Sunshine State Standards website, and search through the standards for your subject area and grade level. Find at least five benchmarks that could relate to a multimedia activity in your classroom. Then, briefly describe the standards and the related activity.

Part 2: Identifying Learning Outcomes

Multimedia activities in the classroom can focus on one or more of the following outcomes: content basic thinking, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creative thinking. Using the classification scheme outlined in this lesson and the Multimedia Activity Classification Template, check the categories that would best correspond to each activity.
