These three tools are for classroom observation, lesson plan review, and teacher reflection.






4. TIM-C
The TIM-C allows a coach and client to document the goals, activities, progress, and outcomes of a coaching cycle.

The ARTI tool provides a framework for teachers to design and conduct their own action research projects.

6. Report Tool
The Report Tool allows a school or district to create TIM-LP, TIM-O, TIM-R, or TUPS reports.

7. Survey Tool
The Survey Tool allows a school or district to create internal or external surveys on new topics as needed.

TIM Tools 7.5 Administration Guide

Active Applications


The TIM Tools administrator can hide any of the seven tools in the TIM Tools suite. Hiding the application does not delete it from your TIM Tools instance, it only removes it from the menus that your members see. Hiding an application that you are not using makes the menus simpler and easier for your members to navigate.

Some clients prefer to jump right into TIM Tools and utilize all of the tools. Others prefer to introduce tools a few at a time to their membership. We’ve had clients tell us that the first year they plan to use only the TUPS to collect baseline data and create a new technology plan that includes introducing the TIM-O in the following year. The choice is up to you.

To hide a particular application, simply uncheck it from the Active Applications list. Whenever you wish to make it active again, just recheck the box.
